WHO WE ARE

We are a charitable trust with a single mission: to serve as a catalyst for social change by actively contributing to the betterment of society.

WE ARE WORKING ON FRIENDS GROUP BORI CHARITABLE TRUST SINCE 2003

Founded on the platform of being ‘a medium of social change’, the contribution and championing of social causes has become ingrained into the ethos of the Friends Group of Bori Charitable Trust, and has become central to the identity of the group itself. Right from its inception, we have been involved in activities contributing to the betterment of society.



OUR MISSION

We believe in team efforts that can benefit the society at maximum level. Our programmes are defined in a systematic way so as to help in growth and development as a whole in Health, Sports and Culture.

Proactively championing social causes through diverse initiatives for societal betterment.

SOCIAL & CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

To organize impactful programs, our goal is to raise public awareness on social and cultural issues. We actively engage, advocating for or against, to protect and preserve the invaluable social and cultural heritage of the State of Goa.



ASSISTANCE FOR EDUCATION

To assist any educational or other institution for coaching, guidance, counseling or vocational training or to grant individual scholarship for poor, deserving and needy students for elementary and higher education.



CHARITY TO SENIOR CITIZENS

To grant assistance to recognized old age homes for meeting day-to-day expenses of senior citizens. Partnering with healthcare professionals ensures holistic medical support, prioritizing the overall well-being of elderly residents.



MEDICAL ASSISTANCE

To grant finance for medical assistance to needy and indigent persons for meeting the cost of medical treatment, especially for girl child, ladies and women.



SPORTS PROMOTION

Promoting sports in challenging areas of India, we identify talent in rural, tribal, and coastal regions. Our initiatives aim to mold these individuals into future leaders.



RELIEF TO THE POOR

OBJECTIVES OF GENERAL PUBLIC UTILITY

To acquire property for the sole use for public good by making it available for public purposes as for example, housing a library, clinic / or as a community hall to be available for public use as training classes, seminars and other public functions for benefit of the community in general and to undertake any other activity incidental to the above activities but which are not inconsistent with the above objects.
